1. Ratings
1.1 An appropriate rating must be picked for a submission based on its content. A multi file submission should be rated for the most severe file. Ratings are as follows:

General: For all ages. Minimal or cartoon violence without blood, bruising, death, or injury. No nudity, sexual (including sexual fluids, genetalia, or suggestion thereof), or overtly fetishistic (including specific, overly detailed or exaggerated body parts) content. No offensive, profane, or suggestive language. No drug use. No bodily waste.
13+: Violence, with non-severe injury and some blood, is allowed. Partial, artistic, and not-yet-sexual nudity, without genetalia or fluids, is allowed, as well as non-sexual fetishistic content. Language may be suggestive, as well as profane, if not used in a sexual way. Drug use that isn't overly graphic (such as smoking), and not against the user's will, is allowed. No bodily waste.
16+: Intense violence, with blood and severe injury, is allowed as long as not excessive and non-sexual. Full nudity and sexual suggestion, without explicit sexual acts is allowed. Language may contain sexual topics, profanity, and potentially offensive or controversial topics. Drug use that is non-sexual and not against the user's will is allowed. Bodily waste is allowed as long as it is non-sexual.
18+: Excessive, graphic violence and injury is allowed. Explicit sexual acts, fetishes, and situations are allowed. Language may be vulgar, explicit, and offensive. All drug use is allowed. Waste and bodily fluids in sexual situations are allowed.

2. Tagging
2.1 Submissions must have between 3 and 25 tags which are relevant to the subject matter.
2.2 If the submission contains controversial, disagreeable, sexual, or fetishistic content, it must be tagged in a way that represents that.
2.3 Tags used exessively and in ways not related to the subject matter are not allowed.

3. Subjects and Mediums
3.1 Submissions must have from 1 to 3 of both subjects and mediums, which accurately describe their content. If the submission contains more subjects/mediums then 3, the most relevant ones should be chosen.
3.2 Fetish-containing submissions should have the relevant fetish-related subject, or "fetish general".
3.3 Subjects and mediums not related to the submission are not allowed.

4. Sales
Submissions posted on LV may contain sales, such as auctions, adoptables, etc.

4.1 The sold item must be created by the person selling it.
4.2 The sale post should only be posted on one account that belongs to the seller.
4.3 Sales should be marked with the appropriate sale status.
4.4 Sales cannot be reposted (see 5. Reminders & Duplicates).

5. Reminders & Duplicates
5.1 Making separate submissions for the sole purpose of duplicating, re-iterating, or linking back to previously submitted content is not allowed. LV features a reminders system available to OPEN-status submissions, which is to be used for this purpose instead. These may be used to promote sales, user-run events, etc.

6. Flashing Images
6.1 Flashing images and other seizure-inducing content is not allowed.

7. Traced & Stolen Content
7.1 Traced and stolen content is not allowed.

8. Content not made by you
8.1 Content produced by other people must have been made for you and may only be uploaded with their permission. If the creator has an account on LV, it is reccommended that the Credits system is used to link to them. The original creator may still request for the submission to be taken down.
8.2 Content produced by other people that is used as part of your submission (such as bases and backgrounds) should be used with permission and should correctly credit/cite the source.

9. AI, Filters, and other algorithmically altered content
9.1 Content using AI or other generative/altering algorithms is not permitted unless all used data is verifiably self-made (ie. content created using any found or curated dataset is entirely forbidden, but you may put your own work through algorithms). This also goes for derivatives of algorithmically-altered content, including paintovers, application of more algorithms, etc.

10. Content involving minors
10.1 Content involving minors (or characters with child-like bodies) in or alongside any sexual situations, objects, references, or fetishes is not allowed, regardless of whether or not they're fictional.

11. Specific banned subject matters
11.1 The following are not allowed:
- Photography of body parts without creative content
- Photography of sexual activity
- Photography of sexual objects (unless created by you and not in use or with suggestion of use)
- Photography of injury or gore, unless fake
- Photography of children (<18), regardless of its nature
- Photography of people without their consent
- Photography of other people's work without their permission to share it here.
- Content that is blank, placeholder, and otherwise non-creative

2.2 Do not discuss violent or sexual crimes.
