Finally, the long awaited literature update is here! There are two main components of this update: Firstly, text submissions may now be created. BoxCodes have been enabled outside of custom boxes, and new ones have been added to allow text styling ([[B]]bolding[[/B]], [[U]]underlines[[/U]], etc.). They may be inserted through the new text editor! Secondly, gallery folders may now be converted into "Literature" folders. If a member has a literature folder, they will receive a new tab in their navbar for their literature gallery. Submissions within a literature folder will become part of a Table of Contents and navigation buttons linking them together will be added to their pages. If a literature folder is placed into another literature folder, it will be rendered as a sub-section and removed from the top of the literature gallery (This can be used to organize chapters, books, etc. that are part of an overarching work). If a non-literature folder is placed into a literature folder, it will be rendered as a "Resource" (this can be used to append further materials such as refsheets, maps, etc.). Summary with further features: - BoxCodes are now available throughout the site (in comments, notes, journals, descriptions..). - New text editor, available for journals and text submissions. - Emotes! [[:D]] Now available throughout the site and can be added from the new text editor. - Submission URLs altered (sorry! Please update your links if you use any). - Literature folders and literature member pages added. (Folders can be converted on the folder management page or on their individual edit pages) - Fixed bug causing paused thumbnails of filtered gif submissions to not be blurred.

The default way of navigating zoomed in submissions has changed, but the old can still be reverted to with a new settings option. The general settings have been prettied up somewhat. Other then that, there are many small tweaks/fixes. - Improved info box positioning in custom box tutorial. - Fixed gradients not overlapping correctly on tiled view of multi-file submissions. - Custom boxes may only shrink in height when the window is resized (to prevent their height from being animated using contained elements). - Custom box max height added (2000px). - Fixed audio file cover arts not showing. - Fixed random subject and random medium links. - Email sending fixed, emails prettied up with a new template. - Limit to how many emails your account may trigger in an hour added (15). - Themes are now account-bound (update your theme for the change to take effect). - Navigation and account display settings update without refreshing the page. - Changed default image zoom movement to work by mouse drag.

Du will now show you around the features of the custom box editor. - Tutorial for Custom Box Editor added. - When attempting to view a notification created by a deleted submission, that notification is automatically removed. - Fixed bug preventing submission deletion. - Show how many submissions exist per category when viewing them on the browse page. - Image thumbnails will now be smaller in file size. - New page added which lists members who have faved a submission. - Names of members who have their faves list hidden will now also be hidden from the notifications created by their faving.

The primary focus of this update is with new submission-related options. - By default, gifs now only play by mouse over when browsing. This setting may be adjusted so that gifs never play, or always play. - The number and types of files contained in a submission are now displayed over each thumbnail while browsing. - When a multi file submission is moused over, the additional files are displayed (so long as it is not filtered). - Image files may now be viewed in larger size on their submission page. - Content entered into new submission form is now saved if you leave the page. If it is undesired, it may be discarded once it loads. - When a new submission is started, default values are loaded into the form. They may be added on a new settings page, "Templates". - Fixed bug preventing audio submissions from showing up. - Fixed bug causing filter to not work in multi file submissions, added filter to notifications. - Fixed bug causing Du loading gif to show up too large. - Fixed bug causing no thumbnail to show up for audio submissions in browse.

It's been a while! In this update, the subject and medium selection is no longer done with a dropdown, making it quicker to get to the categories you need. A "loading screen" has been made to appear after sending a submission, to make it clear that the action is in progress! Further updates will continue to follow feeback that we have received. - Medium and Subject select have new improved layout. An OC’s subject option has been added. - Fixed deleted submissions in notifications creating an error. - New submissions don’t display on the newest page until all files are processed. - A "loading screen" has been made for a submission in the progress of being posted. The Du animation can be disabled in the settings. - A filtered image can no longer be dragged into a new tab.

When designing a custom box, you may now color its elements with the visitor's chosen theme! Beyond that, various convenience/ QOL features have been added, such as quick links to edit boxes on your profile. You can look at your boxes without them in the new Visitor view mode. - “Edit this box” links added to corner of custom boxes. - Possible urls to your page now displayed. (at bottom of page) - Visitor view to view your profile without the above. - Theme variables now available in custom boxes. - Content of boxes existing in the profile may now be copied to custom presets (available in their code insert section). - Settings now have an “images” block without the need for a password to update. - Images currently in use are now displayed back in in the images block. They may be deleted (ie. reset to original) - Clarified where old password needs to be entered in settings, reduced form autofilling to prevent accidental account changes. - Account deletion on new page and with warning. - Fixed bug causing page of unanswered report to fail to load. - New buttons to select all notifications per type on notifications page. - Submission timestamps look nicer.
